Spain-based hotel chain Princess Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of two all-inclusive luxury resorts, Princess Senses The Mangrove and Princess Grand Jamaica, in Jamaica. These mark the chain’s first openings in the country. The resorts are in a serene cove on Green Island, offering stunning ocean-front views and a tranquil ambiance.
According to Marc Pelfort, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing at Jamaica Princess Hotels & Resorts, the new ventures aim to create a luxurious experience with personalized service. The company hopes to establish itself as a leading destination in the Caribbean.
Princess Senses The Mangrove is an adult-only, all-inclusive resort with 401 ocean suites and 14 overwater villas. It offers various features, including partial glass floors, infinity pools, finished balconies, terraces with swim-out pool options, 14 restaurants, 15 bars, and a spa.
On the other hand, Princess Grand Jamaica is a family-friendly resort with amenities such as an aquatic park, kids club, teens center, nanny service, and various activities. It offers a choice of 590 ocean-view suites or Family and Master suites. Other features include three pools with water slides, eight bars and nine restaurants serving a variety of cuisines.
Both resorts emphasize sustainability, with measures to preserve the surrounding mangroves and self-sufficiency in electricity, natural gas, and water production. Enrico Pezzoli, General Manager, stated that the two new properties are the largest investments made by an international company in Jamaica.
With the opening of these resorts, Princess Hotels & Resorts will also build staff facilities that can accommodate up to 450 team members. When occupancy reaches around 1,600 employees, the company plans for one-third to live on the property.
To celebrate the opening, the resorts offer a promotional discount of 50% off bookings, with complimentary roundtrip airport transfers for a minimum stay of three nights.
