St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort. Developed by Unicorp National Developments, with design by 10 Design and interiors by Hirsch Bedner Associates and Dutch East Design, the resort is the most extensive development on Longboat Key in the past 50 years.
Located on Sarasota’s barrier island, the resort spans 18 acres of beachfront property and provides exclusive access to a private 800-foot beach. The resort also introduces the brand’s first-ever Pool Butler, featuring partnerships with Vilebrequin and La Mer.
The resort offers various amenities, including swimming pools, personal cabanas, an adults-only pool, and a secluded grotto. The resort also features a 500,000-gallon Under the Sea Lagoon, home to 40 stingrays, over 2,800 local reef fish, and two giant Aldabra tortoises.
In addition, the resort will open a boutique in partnership with the luxury French swimwear brand Vilebrequin in the Fall of 2024. The boutique will showcase a collection of stylish swim and resort wear, including a bespoke marine-themed capsule.
The resort’s architecture and interiors blend with the natural beauty of the Gulf Coast. Guests can choose from 168 rooms and 26 suites, each equipped with a rainfall shower, freestanding bathtub, and the signature St. Regis Butler Service.
The resort offers seven dining venues, including CW Prime, a signature steakhouse, and The Spirit Room, a speakeasy-style bar. Other dining options include an interactive pasta bar, an open-air pool grill, a rooftop lounge, and a café serving health-forward specialty drinks and pastries.
The St. Regis Spa, a 20,000-square-foot beachfront retreat, offers 14 treatment rooms, a hydrothermal area, and a unique outdoor vitality pool. In partnership with La Mer, the spa provides luxury treatments, including a 90-minute facial that rejuvenates the skin.
The resort also boasts 34,000 square feet across 10 versatile event rooms, making it an ideal location for weddings, celebrations, and corporate events.
